Setting up Motion Recording

Setting up Motion Only Recording

Step 1 of 2: Configure the Schedule for 24/7 motion recording:

1. Right-click in the main viewing window and click Ma

in Menu>Schedule Setup ( ).

2. Click on the desired schedule t

o configure on the left panel.

3. Deselect the "Enable Schedule Record" checkbox.

4. Select the "Enable Schedule Motion Detect" checkbox.

5. Configure the following:

• Start Time &

End Time: Set the Start Time to 00:00 and the End Time to 24:00.

• Days of the week: Select every day of the week; do not select Holiday.

6. Right-click and click Ye

s to save your changes.

Step 2 of 2: Enable motion detection and

disable Continuous Recording:

1. Enable motion detection for your cameras using the steps in “Enabling Motion Recording” on

page 23.

2. Ensure Continuous Recording is disabled.

• During Continuous Recording, the Record icon (

)appears in each channel. If the icon is

shown, right-click and click Record on/off ( ).

Setting up Scheduled Recording

To set up Scheduled Recording, create separate schedules for Continuous Recording, motion

detection, and alarm sensor recording using the instructions in “SCHEDULE SETUP” on page 30.

Please note you will have to enable motion detection

on your cameras to use motion detection.

Click on the desired schedule
